Friday marked the 18th birthday of my nephew, Joel Mercer. Born in England, Joel moved to Australia with his parents when he was five. He came back home to see his aunt & cousins and to celebrate his 18th birthday.
Since the Internet is our world it made sense to help him celebrate by creating a space for him on the Internet so he can tell the world who he is and find help and guidance from those who have gone before...
We launched the space on Friday and within 5 minutes he was top of the search for the title of the story and for his name Joel Mercer. Within 48 hours the new domain was indexed and cooking with gas.
