Most of us are impatient, if we don’t find the answer we are looking for within 1 or 2 clicks we’re off doing another search. We therefore need to make sure our content is shown on page one for the most popular search strings that relate to the core topic of the site.

That’s the ideal, the reality is we need to pick a bunch of phrases and then work at helping that page achieve a dominant position. We are attempting to do that by having contextual links from one page to relevant information on other content management websites and so help all sites prosper.
